PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Students and Parents,
I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new principal, Dr. Stacey-Ann Barrett, and warmly welcome you to the new academic year. This year marks a fresh beginning for all of us, filled with opportunities for growth and success. Together, we will strive to achieve excellence through accountability and attendance, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential.
Our school community is built on a foundation of partnership between students, parents, and educators. We believe that we need each other to foster an environment where our students can thrive. Your involvement and support are crucial, and we are excited to collaborate with you throughout the year. To strengthen our community bond, we have planned an array of amazing events for both students and parents. We look forward to your active participation and enthusiasm in these activities.
I am also pleased to introduce our dedicated team of educators, including our certified High School teacher, our certified SPED teacher, our paraprofessional with over 10 years at Plaquemines Parish Learning Center (PPLC) and our new Middle School teacher. Each brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to providing the best education possible for our students. As we embrace these positive changes, Plaquemines Parish Learning Center is more focused than ever on delivering high-quality education and support for our students.
In this era of instant communication, I kindly ask that, should any concerns or issues arise, you refrain from immediately turning to social media. Instead, please give us the opportunity to address and resolve any matters as a team, together. We are committed to maintaining open lines of communication and working together to find solutions.
Once again, I emphasize that we need each other to make this academic year a successful and memorable one. I am eager to embark on this exciting journey with you and look forward to the incredible achievements we will accomplish together.
Warm regards,
Dr. Stacey-Ann Barrett
Principal
